Manila Ocean Park

My cousins, Nicole and Fritz, came to Manila for a short vacation. Unlike last year where they stayed for almost a month, this vacation lasted only for a few days. So, we had to make it short but sweet! Haha.

We took them to see the Manila Ocean Park . . . and boy, was I pleasantly surprised! It was amazing to see soooooo many people visiting the park. At Php 400 per person, the place didn't come cheap kaya it was nice to see a variety of people from all walks of life "ooh-ing and aah-ing" to all sorts of Philippine marine life.

But of course, we went there for the fish and we were not disappointed at all! Below are photos of my favorites. (Note: Flash photography is prohibited kaya medyo malabo yung ibang pictures.)

The Giant Spider Crab

The Reef Fish

The Spotted Garden Eel

The Giant Grouper aka Lapu-lapu

And of course, the pretty colored fish (of which I forgot what they're called. hehe)

But the main attraction is underwater tunnel/aquarium where manta rays and sharks swim about giving that added thrill to the place.

Manila Ocean Park is a must-go-to-place for family and friends. Just be prepared for the crowds especially on weekends. The park is open daily from 10 am to 9 pm. Enjoy!
